SPAR’s partnership with Jet Retail UK service stations is continuing to motor on with the opening of two new stores.
A new SPAR store, situated at Millpool Hill service station on the A435 Alcester Road South in Birmingham, has welcomed its first customers.
Key refreshments at the 2,157sq. ft. SPAR store include Clayton Park Bakery products, a self-service Costa Coffee machine, hot food to go, a wide range of dairy products and an off license.
The store, which also has an ATM and 10 parking spaces, will trade 24 hours, seven days per week, in line with the service station’s operating hours.
Its opening is the result of a continued and successful partnership between SPAR UK, James Hall & Co. Ltd. and Jet Retail UK service stations.
Millpool Hill’s new SPAR store is hot on the wheels of a comprehensive store refurbishment at another Jet service station – Newton Park – on the outskirts of Darlington just off Junction 59 of the A1M.
The fresh-looking store at Newton Park offering a range of high quality food-to-go options that come with the esteemed SPAR brand including Seattle’s Best Coffee, F’Real Smoothies and Milkshakes, Polar Krush, and the SPAR Daily Deli.
Other features include a lorry park and showers, ideal for long distance truck drivers.
The SPAR store will be serviced by James Hall & Co. Ltd., based at Preston, who are the primary wholesaler and distributor for SPAR stores across the north of England.
