James Hall & Co.’s company owned stores division, G&E Murgatroyd, is celebrating a fantastic Halloween fundraising season after raising £16,583 for Marie Curie!

Running across G&E Murgatroyd’s 118 SPAR stores, staff really got into the Halloween spirit, dressing their stores with spider webs, ghouls and witches hats, running raffles and cake sales, colouring competitions and tombola prizes.

Halloween is only a tiny part of G&E Murgatroyd’s annual fundraising for Marie Curie, with stores actively fundraising across the year and a number of products automatically donating a percentage of sale to Marie Curie such as SPAR branded sandwiches produced at James Hall & Co.

This fantastic figure will provide 825 hours of care from a specialist Marie Curie nurse for individuals and families in the UK coping with terminal illness.
