Independent SPAR retailer, Paul Stone, has launched a charity partnership with iconic local charity, We Love MCR, across his retail portfolio of 7 Manchester City Centre SPAR stores.
The core of the partnership will be charity collection tins in every store, which currently bring in thousands of pounds in donations each year. Paul’s store staff will also receive refunds on their entry fees to sponsored events they take part in for the Charity, and all colleagues will be encouraged to get involved in 2020.
Business owner Paul Stone says “I’ve invested in Manchester since 1987, and I see the challenges our city faces as well as our great achievements, so I’m proud to partner with We Love MCR Charity. They provide funds to local voluntary groups to improve their own communities, and they fund opportunities for young Mancunians from disadvantaged backgrounds to thrive and succeed in work and education. I’m sure my team and our customers will support this great cause.”
