Wakefield residents have an exciting new convenience shopping experience on their doorstep after James Hall & Co. Ltd opened its 150th company owned SPAR store in the town.

Located in Wentworth Street, the impressive looking new SPAR store has transformed the site of a derelict former garage forecourt and has created 24 jobs in the area.

Open between 7am and 10pm every day, the new SPAR store offers a fantastic range of food to go and hot food, as well as a high-quality Graham Eyes butcher’s counter, tasty Clayton Park Bakery products and a Cheeky Coffee machine.

A Tango Ice machine and F’Real Smoothies and Milkshakes are also offered at the store which also has an ATM service and 20 car parking spaces.

The SPAR store will be serviced by James Hall & Co. Ltd, based at Preston, who are the primary wholesaler and distributor for SPAR stores across the north of England.
