The wait is nearly over – pink Prosecco is on its way and your local SPAR convenience store has plenty in stock!

The Italian government gave the go ahead for the production of pink Prosecco in May, and from 30 November 2020 SPAR stores will have thousands of bottles of its very own Prosecco Rosé available for shoppers in time for Christmas.

SPAR has been working closely with one of the best Italian suppliers, Bosco Viticultori, who also produce SPAR’s ever-popular blue shield Extra Dry Prosecco. The two have collaborated to speed deliveries of the own label Prosecco Rosé to ensure it is available from a SPAR store near you.

Arriving well ahead of Christmas and New Year’s celebrations, SPAR expects to sell several tens of thousands of bottles of this delicious pink fizz in time for Christmas and New Year.

The SPAR Prosecco Rosé is a lovely light and delicately rose-pink sparkler made from a blend of Glera and Pinot Noir grapes; deliciously fresh and fruity and the perfect fizz for raising a glass to family, friends and festivities.

Working with the Italian producer, Bosco Viticultori, located in Salgareda, a small town in the heart of Veneto in the North East of Italy; SPAR is delighted to be the first convenience store group in Britain to offer the new pink Prosecco to shoppers.

Philippa Carr MW and wine consultant to SPAR said: “SPAR is really excited to bring top quality Prosecco Rosé to convenience shoppers. The new Prosecco Rosé is a deliciously fruity sparkler perfect for the festive season and would make a wonderful choice for Christmas gifting. It is incredible value at only £7.99 a bottle.”

Available in participating SPAR stores in England, Scotland and Wales from 30 November 2020, SPAR Prosecco Rosé 75cl is launching on special promotion at £7.99 until 10 March 2021. Normal RSP is £9.00.
