SPAR has sponsored the popular City of Preston 10k race for the first time – with a team of runners from James Hall & Co. Ltd taking part in the challenge to boot!
Organised by the Running Bee Foundation, the fast-growing and popular race around the heart of Preston took place on Sunday 26th September, attracting more than 500 runners. They were cheered on by spectators including SPAR mascots SPARtan and SPARkle.
Peter Dodding, Sales and Marketing Director at James Hall & Co. Ltd, said: “The SPAR City of Preston 10K was a fantastic event, and it was brilliant to see hundreds of runners of all abilities taking on the challenge, watched on by large numbers of spectators and families.
“There was a real feel-good factor around Avenham Park throughout the day, and as a Preston based company, we were delighted to put SPAR’s name to the race as headline sponsor and support this popular event on our doorstep.”
